I've been monitoring the New Age community and status for about 20+ years primarily in Atlanta, Georgia. I occasionally visit a few New Age bookstores in the area but seldom buy anything although recently I found a really nice Tai Chi book in the Phoenix and Dragon Bookstore and bought it. I noted that there's a lot less books on their shelves now...And I think that the New Age may be in decline in Atlanta and perhaps elsewhere.

Why in decline? After 20+ years of taking occasional workshops, a few psychic reasons, some occasional reading, and watching Seekers come and go...The New Age hasn't changed. Hasn't grown. Hasn't any new answers. Hasn't any real solutions...

And it has a number of really bad ideas that can mess up a person's mind and life.

First, let me address WHY I've looked into the New Age and monitored it over the years.

I'm a Psi Person. This is my term for a person that has so called "psychic" senses and abilities. And a wide variety of experiences. For example, this last Saturday I attended an "Intuitive Development Bootcamp" in Little Five Points area in Atlanta. I did this because for my Psi School I already have a very large number of Psi skills and experiences to present and talk about, some not common and perhaps unique, but how does one teach others who are not Naturals to develop their Psi abilities and skills?

A Natural is a person that Naturally has Psi abilities and skills...They are not that uncommon but generally hide what they sense and can do because of the ridicule and derision and discrimination. I met a Natural there...She was suffering because she didn't understand what it was, how to control it, how to live with it. I gave her my card and told her "You're a Natural...But you haven't been trained in it. I will be working on a training program." She was very surprised and grateful.

Living as a Natural is difficult because "normal" people really do not have these senses and abilities and/or suppress and hide them because the society and culture here is not accepting of such things and actively suppress, discriminate, and revile Naturals and such ideas, especially Christians who are notoriously negative and paranoid about such things.

I'm a Natural. And something more than just a regular Natural. Perhaps some of that comes from my birth and some possible MK-Ultra experiences in my youth. But all that are rather mysteries that I will talk about elsewhere.

But...

There's lots of Naturals walking around trying to make sense of everything...And there's not real community or support...so they dip into the New Age as Seekers...

I've seen quite a few Seekers in my life and they tend to come and go into New Age activities and such...and often go...

Why? Because it doesn't really make much sense...And doesn't really help.

I had a girlfriend, Kathy, some years ago who was very heavy into the New Age...Lots of stories there for later. So got to see some "inside views" and such.

And not really anything that really helped me as a Psi Person.

But I found and saw lots of toxic ideas...

Perhaps this is why we don't see New Agers fly, walk on water, tell the future accurately, heal all the sick children in hospitals (Oh, excuse me! Their suffering and early death is MEANT to give them "spiritual growth"!) What utter crap!

Can you tell that I get a bit worked up about this? Because it's very toxic mind mucking!
